We work on pictures that have been damaged in some way. There may be a tear or a watermark that ruins the appearance of your picture. We scan the original picture. The original picture is untouched and returned to you with the repaired image on a new sheet of photo paper.
Below are progressive steps that show the insight of digital repair. These steps are from the beginning, to the final product.
The damaged photograph is placed in a scanner and scanned just like a regular copy machine operates. After the image has been scanned the information is sent to a computer. At that point, the computer and a special program are used to repair or alter the scanned image. All of the repairs and alterations of the image are done in the computer. When the work has been completed in the computer, the corrected information is sent to a printer for the final product, (Your Picture).
